Grade 4 health and wellness core values focus on building physical self-care, emotional awareness, social responsibility, and safe decision-making habits. Physical Well-being: Understanding nutrition, hygiene, and daily activity as fuel for the body. “Students gain an understanding of health information and skills through six strands: physical health and hygiene; mental health and wellness; healthy eating and physical activity...” Mental and Emotional Health: Practicing stress management, identifying feelings, and building self-confidence. “Emotional and social health are central to individuals' well-being.” - Showing empathy, resolving conflicts, and practicing kindness with peers.
